| A private nonprofit organization, Doctors On Call, (D.O.C.) is an international independent surgical outreach organization, with a team committed to providing surgical aid wherever needed in the Caribbean, regardless of religion, politics or sex. |
D.O.C. is committed to delivering efficient, exemplary surgical healthcare services by consistently providing excellence in:
- General and Reconstructive Surgery
- Community Outreach Programs
- Training of health professionals
- And, dignity to all persons

To achieve the goal of creating more highly trained surgeons and increasing access to
surgical care in the Caribbean, the project focuses on:
- seeking new ways for training surgeons
- research the teaching of surgical skills
- developing methods of evaluating technical competence
- elaborate and extends new technologies in surgery
Founded in the
Spring of 2000, D.O.C. is the first organization which exclusively
aids the Caribbean in general and reconstructive surgery, with expertise
in four areas of specialty
and sub-specialty procedures. Our medical team travels overseas
on a quarterly schedule to fifteen
islands
in the Caribbean.
