In June 2000, Ms. Johnson co-authored a proposal to Increase Access to Essential General and Reconstructive Surgery in the Caribbean, two months later she joined her colleagues in Incorporating Doctors On Call. As President, Ms. Johnson's academic and professional experiences serves her well, as she endeavors to promote equal access to advanced surgical therapies in the region.

A Toronto native, Johnson completed her academic studies at the University of Toronto in 1995. Ms. Johnson recently made the transition from Television News Broadcasting to Public Relations. She lives and works in New York City.
