Dr. Donaldson is an Attending General and Vascular Surgeon at Harlem Hospital Center in New York. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.Dr. Donaldson graduated from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus in 1984. He received his training in General, Vascular, and Critical Care Surgery at Harlem Hospital Center.

Dr. Donaldson has been practicing General and Vascular Surgery in the state of New York for seven years.

His interests include Distal Bypass for Diabetic Ischemic Diseases. Dr. Donaldson has published papers on Peripheral Vascular Disease and General Surgery topics, and is currently conducting research on the Distribution and Availability of Vascular Therapies in Minority Communities. Dr. Donaldson joined the Doctors On Call surgical outreach medical team, and subsequently became a member of the Board of Directors in 2000. He is the Official Spokesperson for the Medical Team. Dr. Donaldson lives in New York with his wife and three children.
