April 2003 Mission

On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you for embracing the vision and mission of Doctors On Call. Together, we are increasing access to general and reconstructive surgery in the Caribbean!

Your support has enabled us to deliver care and increase access to general and reconstructive surgery in a fundamental way. Nearly 1,000 Jamaican residents have benefited from your positive contribution to D.O.C.’s mission of service, education and training.

April 2003 Mission Highlights:

• Over 60 general and reconstructive surgical procedures.
• More than 40 consults
• Over $75,000 (US) supplies and equipment donated to Annotto Bay Hospital and the University Hospital.
• D.O.C. health fair attended by 500 residents at Gayle Community Health Center.
• Medical lecture at UWI attended by about 160 residents, attending physicians, and other health professionals.
